The lower part of the case handles CD's, floppys, the PSU and the disks. The disks are mounted in foam only. This actually got to be very stable and they do not shake out even if I tilt and shake the box. The CD and floppy holders are leftover parts from the previously cut up ATX box and they too are fixed only in foam as well.

<p> The lower airflow is pushed inside the box two 80mm intake fans
and pushed out by the PSU fan (although I'm thinking of removing that
fan). The airflow is not great around the disks, but the temperature
is around or below 30°C which is cool enough, so I don't have to
